Waadi-e-Sitara Mosque
Overview
Spanning a covered area of 5,000 sq. ft., this mosque reinterprets a familiar typology through clean architectural lines and balanced proportions. A sculpted travertine volume anchored by a tall, freestanding minaret establishes the building’s presence from the street, while perforated geometric screens let daylight — and at dusk, interior light — filter through without compromising privacy or shade.
Every decision, from the faceted massing to the restrained material palette, was weighed against a single brief: create a peaceful environment for prayer, reflection and community, with a timeless aesthetic that will not date.
